A large free public garden in central Porto on terraced slopes above the Douro, with ponds, fountains, shady trees, rose bushes and the domed Rosa Mota Pavilion (Super Bock Arena) at its centre. Visitors stroll, picnic, watch sunsets over the river and see free-roaming peacocks, chickens and ducks.
